BUILD MUSCLE WITHOUT WASTING YOUR TIME
If you're putting time into the gym, you should feel like you're getting something back from it.
Maybe you're just starting out and don't really know what to do. Or perhaps you've trained for years, made good progress in the past, but your body hasn't changed much recently.
We'll start with where you are now: how you train, what you want to change, your nutrition, recovery and how much time you realistically have for the gym.
The goal is simple: build more muscle, get stronger and create a physique you're genuinely happy with.
WHY YOU MAY NOT BE
BUILDING AS MUCH MUSCLE
SAME TRAINING
Doing the same exercises and workouts for months without clear progression can eventually stop producing the results you want.
TOO MUCH
More training isn't automatically better. Too much volume, cardio or intensity can make it harder to recover and progress.
NUTRITION
Training hard while consistently under-eating makes it difficult to give your body what it needs to build and recover.
TRAINING THAT ACTUALLY FITS YOU
There's no standard programme that I give to everyone.
I'll look at how you move, what you're already good at, where you're weaker and what you actually want to change about your physique.
We'll use progressive resistance training, combining free weights, machines, cables and bodyweight exercises depending on what works best for you.
I'll coach your technique closely, but I also want you to understand what you're doing and why you're doing it.
PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD ISN'T ABOUT LIFTING HEAVIER EVERY WEEK.
It's about giving your muscles a reason to adapt. That can mean more weight, more repetitions, better technique, more effective exercise selection or gradually increasing training volume.
Your programme should progress because you are progressing.
BUILD THE MUSCLES YOU WANT
Some people want bigger shoulders or a wider back. Someone else might want bigger legs or arms.
Others simply want to add muscle everywhere and look noticeably stronger.
There's no prize for doing an exercise that doesn't suit you. If something isn't working for your body, we'll find a better option.
NUTRITION FOR MUSCLE GROWTH
You can have a great training programme and still struggle to build muscle if your nutrition isn't supporting it.
I'll help you get the important things right: enough protein, an appropriate calorie intake and a sensible balance of carbohydrates and fats to support muscle growth and recovery.
If you also want to lose body fat, we'll look at what makes sense based on where you're starting from and what you want to achieve.
You don't need six meals a day, a cupboard full of supplements or to take Tupperware everywhere you go.
YOU DON'T NEED TO LIVE IN THE GYM
You don't have to organise your entire life around the gym to make progress.
For some people, three well-planned sessions a week work brilliantly. Others enjoy training four or five times and have the time to recover from it.
Work gets busy. People travel. Holidays happen. You go out for dinner.
Your training needs to work around normal life if you want to stick with it long enough to see real results.
Consistency matters much more than perfection.
FROM BEGINNERS TO
EXPERIENCED GYM-GOERS
I work with complete beginners as well as experienced gym-goers who want to build more muscle, increase their strength or take their physique further.
Wherever you're starting from, we'll build from there.
The training is adjusted around your experience, your body, your goals and how you respond to the programme.

MUSCLE BUILDING
PERSONAL TRAINING
CAN BEGINNERS WORK WITH YOU?
Absolutely. You don't need previous gym experience. We'll start from where you are and build your confidence and ability gradually.
CAN YOU HELP ME BUILD MUSCLE WHILE LOSING BODY FAT?
Depending on your starting point, goals and training history, it may be possible to improve both. We'll look at your training and nutrition together.
DO I NEED TO TRAIN EVERY DAY?
No. The right training frequency depends on your goals, experience, lifestyle and ability to recover. Three well-planned sessions can be extremely effective.
HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK SHOULD I TRAIN?
That depends on your goals, experience, schedule and recovery. We'll choose a training frequency that allows you to progress without making your programme unnecessarily complicated.
DO I NEED TO EAT A LOT TO BUILD MUSCLE?
Not necessarily. Your calorie intake and nutrition need to support your goals, but gaining muscle doesn't mean eating as much as possible.
